Kentucky to Maryland Shake Down Trip

We started in Louisville Kentucky and made it to Gambrills Maryland. Along the way, we were able to check off the states of Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. We visited the Beckley West Virginia Exhibition Coal Mine. It was excellent. Not only did we get to go into the mine itself, we were able to visit several original buildings from the mine and settlement houses from the 1800s that had been moved to the site. After a few days with family we visited America’s largest family owned, free-to-enter amusement, Knoebels.
